Me & my new BFF - blackberry colored lipstick

This coat is on my wishlist for my birthday. From Zara, in case someone feels generous on Feb 15 (size S or M!!!!!!)

Sun shining over Gamla Stan.

The cookie monster

I don't know what's happened to me. Last year I ate no sweets at all (ok, maybe I'm exaggerating but really, almost none)

This year has started with me eating like 2 pounds of cake every single day.

Today was no exception.

I started my day with eggs and tea - as per usual. Then I went to visit my grandma and felt so badly about arriving with my hands empty that I stopped by Café Dello Sport to buy two semlor, one for her and one for me. Even though I was already full nobody likes to eat by themselves, so I did her a  favor - as the great granddaughter that I am - and held her company while chugging down one of these.

Later on I had lunch like any other day. But then later on at work  I got this massive migrainey kind of head ache and had to go buy coffee, (my guess was that the migraine was from caffeine withdrawal). Of course, they had freshly baked tosca/almond/fudge buns, straight from the oven. The clerk was astonished that I hadn't tried one yet sooo... here I am. Tosca bun in the stomach. With sugar and cream pouring through my veins. THIS HAS TO STOP.

Not just today though. Tonight I'm baking an apple pie as a bribe to my friend that's gonna fix my laptop tomorrow. You just know I'll eat half of it by the time he gets here. Maybe Wednesday is a good day for sugar rehab to start?

29 jan

Today was my day off, as most Saturdays.
Went to a boy's 1st birthday party and ate LOTS of cake. As I do at most parties.
Went bowling and lost. As I do on most bowling nights.
Played cards and lost. That I don't usually do.
Great day.

Look of the day

Today is a black Friday.

Lace blouse: vintage, Emma Loca
Skinny jeans: Forever 21 (only $7, wow I miss the US..)
Open tunic: numph (on sale now, one piece left)

Right after work I'm meeting up with my friends to celebrate a birthday (not mine - yet). I struggled this morning to find an outfit that looks as good at work as it will on the dancefloor. Not sure if I succeeded..
And yes, at this workplace it's accepted to show your bra. Almost encouraged. We're very liberal.

The Party Pooper

Here's a normal scenario at the shop: Two good friends out on the town shopping together. Spending a lovely afternoon in Gamla Stan, browsing through some random shops on their weekend visit to Stockholm. Maybe stopping by a café to relax those tired feet afterwards.

One of them spots the store and decides to enter. We say hello, greet each other, all is fine and dandy. The more upbeat of the two finds lots of nice and fun things, like a bag made out of cork or a beautiful dress with thousands of stones. She's really excited and while you'd think that her friend should be happy for her, she isn't! Here's what she says: that bag/dress/shoes/jacket is not practical.

I HATE THAT PHRASE!!

Not everything in life has to be practical! Yeah, if you're shopping for hiking gear or gym wear - I get it. Sometimes the prettiest things aren't useful or practical at all, but that doesn't mean they're not essential for our well-being. Think about that. How boring life would be if we all wore ecco shoes and cargo pants everyday.

Now these shoes are super useful. You can display your pikachú as well as store your gameboy. You'll never need a hand bag again. Dare I guess that the designer is Japanese..?

Look of the day

Blouse: Emma Loca
Flared jeans: Levi's
Platform shoes: Jeffrey Campbell

Can you tell that I need new light bulbs?

Pervert update

Unsettlingly, very few of you have shown your concern regarding how it's been going with the man that likes to come and show me his penis. Well, I can calm you all down and tell you that he hasn't shown his face (or anything else, for that matter) in two months. Not since I told him that if he ever came back I'd cut his d**k off with a lazy rusty razor.

Ok. Well. That's not exactly what I said. Far from it actually. But I wish! Maybe that would make him think twice about coming back. Or sending me his disciples!!! Gahh this is the worst part...

It seems like he's told his pervert friends where they can go because I got a visit from another one!!!!!!!! He used the same procedure as the first one, trying on women's clothes and requesting my attention but this time I knew what was up and pressed my 'panic button' so Vicente ran up the stairs and kept me company 'til the creep left voluntarily. WTF is going on?? I hate getting worried everytime a man enters the shop. That's just not right.

As God as my witness, I will never be hungry again

As any girl that works in a giant closet would do, I play dress up after closing hours. Especially when we've just received a delivery from LA and we have tons of beautiful dresses to check out.
I found this beautiful scarlet red velvet dress with lace applications and felt very Gone With The Wind

This is my city

A beautiful morning walk in Stockholm. This is on our way to the shop, the view is over Riddarfjärden and Södermälarstrand. The tower on the left is Riddarkyrkan. I love this city.

Look of a day

Glitter pants, sparkly ear rings and glitter tunic. All of the above comes from Emma Loca vintage.

Ps. This unflattering photo makes me look like a midget. Haha!

Testing, testing. One, two.

Let's see if this phone blogging is more up my alley. At least I can promise to show off my fabulous looks more often.
